FTA and U.S. DOT Updates
FTA just announced a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for $226.5 million for transit bus projects nationwide through the competitive Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program (Section 5339), with a minimum of 10% allocated for rural projects.
Pull out your transit asset management plans and see what your priorities are for bus rehab and replacement, then call your state transit program to find out their time-frame and available resources. Read the NOFO for full details.

Intercity Bus Stop Analysis. Results from this research should help state DOTs as they determine whether intercity bus service needs are being met in their states.
