Pilgrimage to the Holy Land - February 2018
The Rector will lead a pilgrimage to the Holy Land from February 16-28, 2018. Over the course of the 10 day trip, pilgrims will thoroughly explore the Holy Land. Highlights include visits to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho, Nazareth, the Jordan River, Capernaum, the Sea of Galilee, the ancient city of Sepphoris, Beth Phage, Gethsemane, and even an opportunity to float in the Dead Sea!

The cost for the land portion of the trip is $2350 and includes accommodations in a double room, all meals, transportation in Israel via deluxe bus, entrance fees, and tips for guest house/restaurant staff/bus driver. Each pilgrim is responsible for their own airfare to Tel Aviv. A very limited number of single rooms are available at an additional cost.

The trip is limited to 26 pilgrims. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is due by October 31 and the final payment will be due by January 9.

To join the pilgrimage, please send your NON-REFUNDABLE $500 deposit to Evangeline Gravina ([email protected]) in the parish office. For questions about the pilgrimage, contact Paul Barkett ([email protected]).

St. John's Trip to South Africa Cancelled
We've made the decision to cancel the fall trip to South Africa because of very little response from the congregation. It is disappointing but we hope to find a future date that is more appealing to a larger group of parishioners. Please email the Rev. Andy Olivo at [email protected] with any questions.
Join the Summer Choir!
Singers (whether experienced or not-so-experienced!) are invited to sing in the choir on Sunday mornings at St. John's, from June 11 through Labor Day weekend. Members of both the St. John's and Parish Choirs will be on hand to lend their voices as well, and you may sing for one or all Sundays.  The rehearsal begins at 9:30 a.m. sharp each Sunday morning in the Nave, to prepare for the 10:30 a.m. service. Please contact Michael Lodico at [email protected] to learn more about Summer Choir and the music program.
Summer Church School - through July 30
Our Summer Church School  will meet through July 30 with our one-room class for grades pre-K through five.   Children will be learning lessons based on a reading in church that day, and will play games, participate in activities, and sing songs related to the day's reading. Summer Sunday School starts at 10:30 a.m. on the second floor of the Parish House. Students will come in to church to join their families for Communion.
