Thank You For Giving Back

Thank you to Virginia Wesleyan's community of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends who contributed to The Excellence Fund during the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Your gifts have provided VWU students with opportunities that will shape their lives forever.

As Retired Chairman of the Virginia Wesleyan University Board, Chief Executive Officer of Norfolk Southern Corporation and 2017 Keynote Commencement Speaker David R. Goode advised, "You have more technological expertise than any generation before you, and you have experience that, while still accruing, is perfectly suited for helping to shape the world of tomorrow.  Use all of those assets, and make the world better and more just - for you, for me, and for those who don't have your strengths."

Your support of The Excellence Fund has actualized this belief for Virginia Wesleyan students by creating annual scholarships, new research projects, unique academic programs, study away experiences, and internship opportunities. These benefits contribute to the success of our students as well as the University's excellent academic reputation.

If you missed the opportunity to contribute, it's never too late to begin giving back to Virginia Wesleyan. Learn more about  The Excellence Fund, make a gift, and be counted! #VWUBeCounted
