MARGEAUX
MILLER

Margeaux volunteers as a weekly tutor. She also comes in multiple days a week during the summer months. She has done this for years volunteering in Childcare. This summer she is working in the Transitional Shelter as well as the Basement Boutique to get special projects done for us. She is dependable and a consistent source of encouragement to our Transitional Shelter Families. This year Margeaux also made our Transitional Shelter moms each a personal note for Valentine's Day. Chantell Mills, our Transitional Shelter Director says "Margeaux stands out as a teenager who lives with Christ as the center
of her life."
DONATION....

A huge Thank You to the members of the
Capital City Car Club who so generously donated the pictured mini van to Contact Ministries when the need arose. Also, thank you for the repairs that were made to our other van.
You are such a blessing to us all!!

NEW PLAYGROUND!!!
Keller Williams
is a local Real Estate Group in Springfield. As part of their RED DAY , which stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate, Keller Williams branch sends all of their employees to serve locally. Introduced in 2009, each year on the second Thursday of May, associates celebrate Mo Anderson's birthday by spending the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations in their communities. RED DAY is just another example of our commitment to each other and to the cities and towns where we live and work. As pictured here you can see that they spent the day serving at Contact Ministries. They worked in our food pantry, organized Mother's Day gifts for our Transitional and Emergency Shelter residents, and rebuilt our Transitional Shelter Playground. They purchased new play ground equipment and made our playground a beautiful and safe place to play and it allows our mothers to spend time with their children.
THANK YOU KELLER WILLIAMS!!

We Need Volunteers

Here at Contact Ministries we utilize volunteers in many areas.  From helping to sort, organize and assist clients in the Basement Boutique to childcare and meal delivery in the shelters. Our volunteers give numerous hours of their time to help us serve the people in need of Springfield and the surrounding area. We would not be able to offer all of the amazing services if it weren't for our volunteers. We are currently needing help in the Basement Boutique and in the shelter. If this is something that you have been thinking about please follow the link below to fill out a short application telling us what areas you would be willing to serve in and we will be in contact with you to get you started. The love and appreciation that you receive is a true blessing!
