Take a look inside the newest tower changing Charlotte's skyline! On the evening of August 17, LS3P and Spectrum Properties will guide members through the building under construction at 300 South Tryon Street,
a 25-story, 689,000 square-foot office
tower designed to LEED Gold standards.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture opened in September 2016 and has welcomed more than one million visitors in less than a year. CPCC and AIA Charlotte are thrilled to welcome one of the architects behind the building's design,
Zena Howard, AIA (Managing Director, Perkins+Will, Raleigh).
Students and members attend this special Membership Meeting free of charge; non-members pay $45. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.

AIA North Carolina Seeks Art Donations for ALS Fundraiser
|
AIANC seeks
donations of artwork by architects to be sold at silent auction during the fall conference in Wilmington. The donated work will be exhibited during the conference, and the auction will conclude with winners announced September 14. Proceeds benefit Design a World Without ALS, the Freelon ALS Fund established by Phil Freelon, FAIA.

apply for open positions on the Young Architects Forum and the National Associates Committee. The deadline is July 31.
