The Sanctuary Renovation continues; to date the pews have been relocated, old layers of flooring have been removed and commercial paint work has been completed. Installation of the new wood-like flooring and carpet is in progress. Finally the pews, and worship furniture will be replaced and a final cleaning done. I anticipate a return to the newly renovated sanctuary by Sunday, July 23rd. Thank you all for your gracious patience and understanding.

Stitchers of Love will take a short break due to Father's Day, and the weekend before the 4th of July. We will take up our group needles again on Sunday, July 16, 2017 in the Parish Hall from 4-6 p.m. Bring your projects and a friend. You do not need to know how to knit or crochet, we have plenty of teachers.

EYC Middle School - We are going tubing on the Ichetucknee River on Wednesday, 7/19. We will leave the church at 9:00 AM and come back late that afternoon. It costs $7 to get into the park and tube. Also, students will need to bring $5-15 (changes based on what kind of tube you want) to rent a tube. If you want to RSVP or if you have questions, please contact

Lunch Bunch Needs Volunteers
|
We are expanding our lunch bunch ministry. Lunch Bunch is a great ministry that feeds children in our community every 1st and 3rd Saturday. This fall we would like to expand the ministry to every Saturday. This means we need volunteers! We will have six teams available and you may sign up for a team and volunteer one Saturday every six weeks. Please see Philip Ryan, Pepi Nelson, or Sandy Sandbach for questions or to sign up.

Do you have a heart for hospitality? Do you enjoy cooking? Would you like to help serve our college students? The fall semester is almost here and we are looking for volunteers to prepare meals for our Thursday family dinners. Also, we are looking for a family to open there home once a month for lunch on Sunday's after Sunday School. If you want to sign up, please see Philip Ryan during coffee hour.

DR Mission Team Reports: 70!

70 Scholarships for El Pedregal School
|
The Dominican Republic missioners are very pleased to report that enough funds were donated for scholarships at the K-8 Episcopal school in El Pedregal that they were able to fund 70 scholarships @ $350/child for the 2017-2018 academic year. We gave the same number for the 2015-16 and the 2016-17 school years.
Many, many thanks to all of our generous donors who made this possible. In addition to donors from the Christ Church congregation and friends and family of the missioners, other donors contributed through our partner churches, Nativity (Dothan AL) and Trinity (Statesboro GA).
