WOMEN TALK is an evening gathering where women present and share their inspiring stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you’ll be entertained by amazing WOMEN TALKers! The evening will be fast-paced with each presenter speaking for 15-20 minutes, TED TALK style. We are ordinary women, sharing extraordinary stories! Everyone's uniqueness is celebrated. It is a beautiful harmonious place where you can feel the unconditional love of the Divine Feminine.
Our Women Talk Monthly Events consist of:
- 2 TALKers; each sharing a 15-20 minute TALK.
- TALK of the month with our founder Brigitte Lessard-Deyell
- Inspirational TALK from a Board Member
- TALK from our sponsor
- Followed by “Girl Time”
- Food and drinks can be purchased from the menu
- Your evening is woven together with a splash of humour, and inspiration thanks to our MC and Director Susan Hoy

Sue Deyell
Beind The Radio Microphone
Sue Deyell has more than 20-years experience in the radio biz and also spent a couple of years hosting her own tv show. Every weekday morning Sue is your news anchor on Mountain Fm. She also will tell you where to go, as the Morning Traffic Anchor on 660 News!! and is your host on the evening show KiSS 95.9 Sue is the owner of Professional MC, a partner in Sportsbras.ca - and the MC for the Calgary Chapter of Women Talk! She loves playing sports, spending time with her family, drinking red wine and eating chocolate (not necessarily in that order)!

Susan Hoy
No Shame
Susan is a red seal & CCC (Canadian Chef de Cuisine) classically trained chef. Having had the opportunity to support Team Canada at the Culinary Olympics very early in her career. Working in the male dominated industry she was schooled in hard work, dedication, precision and a respect for the craft she never understood at the time. A second career as an Agrologist, a soil and vegetation specialist, has taught her about the science and nutrition behind food which gives her a very unique set of skills that spans from seed to plate.
Professional and personal choices took a toll on her health and well-being which was her catalyst to helping others with their health in her current business. Her family history of early death from preventable diseases is one of the driving forces on why she teaches others. Her passion comes from the journey of healing and reversing her own illness.
