The Clearinghouse has published the 2017 Data Summaries - details in the Tip of the Month below.

A number of other recent reports also focus on data, including the Family Violence Death Review Committee and Superu's 2017 Families and Whānau status reports.

Superu has also published 'What works for children exposed to family violence?' In Australia, ANROWS has published two significant new reports on topical issues: one on the relationship between specialist community-based domestic and family violence support services and statutory child protection organisations (the PATRICIA project) and one on Domestic and Family Violence and Parenting.

You will find these and more in the New Resources section.

Tip of the Month

Updated data on family violence

The 2017 Data Summaries are now available.

Data Summaries are a collation of family violence statistics from government and non-government agencies and research studies. The data is collated by the New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse.

These Data Summaries are linked to definitions documents to assist in the interpretation of the data. There are also links to these on the main Data Summaries page.

Please note that the data summaries do not provide any analysis of data by ethnicity.

For other sources of data, please go to our Statistics page.

New resources

Here are some of the books, reports, and other resources added to the NZFVC library this month. Use the "read more" link to the NZFVC library online to read the full summary and request or download the item. Please contact us if any links are broken.
