Council to Vote on Authorizing and Re-Appropriating Funding for Water Infrastructure Upgrades

At its regular meeting at 4:00 p.m. today, Toledo City Council is expected to vote on several ordinances related to funding for water infrastructure upgrades. Ordinance 296-17 would authorize $2.2 million in water bond proceeds for construction of a 36-inch water main at Collins Park Avenue and York Street adjacent to the Collins Park Water Treatment Facility. According to the City, the project will provide greater capacity for serving future customers.
