Protecting the beauty and health of our valuable shoreline is a community responsibility. Every year we pick up hundreds of pounds of trash and debris that accumulates on our Richmond shoreline, threatening bird and sea life. And we have fun doing it!
This year's California Coastal Cleanup is Saturday, September 16. This is a great opportunity for the community to work together improving our treasured shoreline.

Coastal Cleanup at the Richmond Marina for the 27th year, in partnership with the nonprofit Watershed Project and the City of Richmond. I hope you'll join me.
At noon, we'll have a free, healthy lunch for all volunteers.
