YEA! Young Entrepreneurs Academy
The Boca Chamber Education Foundation's Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is currently accepting applications.

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a groundbreaking educational program that takes students in grades six through twelve through the process of starting and running real businesses over the course of a full academic year.

Students work in close cooperation with local leaders of industry, community members, and educators to develop ideas and objectives, write business plans, pitch potential investors, obtain funding, register with governmental agencies, develop their brand identity and much more.

Venture Company Highlights
Student Entrepreneur Making Waves
Devin Willis, a Venture Class 5 student track entrepreneur, is making waves with his invention. He is a finalist in the Discovery Education 
and 3M Young Scientist Challenge and will compete for a $25,000 prize in October.

His invention, SLIDEMAP, helps pathologists with diagnosing cancer by combining 3D printing technology with computer programming. 

The Palm Beach Post recently interviewed the young innovator, in this article.
Aquaco Farms in the Spotlight
Joe Cardenas, an FAU Tech Runway graduate, talks start-up life with the Palm Beach Post.

Cardenas's company, Aquaco Farms, is designed to be one of the largest Florida Pompano grow facilities in the world and will provide a sustainable, highly sought after commodity in the seafood industry.
