For each pound of food collected at PeoplesBank Park, United Fiber & Data will donate 50 centsto the York County Food Bank.
The Food Bank was awarded a $60,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation through the State Grant Program. This grant will assist with shopping area improvements and help us to provide valuable nutritional resources to families in need. Thanks Walmart!!!
The Food Bank was also awarded a donation of $15,000 as a result of the Run Like an Animal 5K. Thank you to the sponsors, race participants, Meiji-Staufer and anyone else who came out to support the event.
VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Special thanks to the volunteers from Baker Tilly who partnered with us during their annual firm-wide Stewardship Day! Here in York, they painted parts of our building's interior.
The 12th Annual Community Courier Day at the York Fair is on Monday, September 11th
Fair-goers are asked to bring donations of food items so they can be entered to win prizes from local businesses for each item.
Reusable grocery bags supplied by Grocery Outlet will also be given to the first 250 people that bring a donation
