Tisha B'Av Torah Study, This Saturday, July 29

Tisha B'Av,
which means the "Ninth of Av", refers to a traditional day of mourning for the destruction of both ancient Temples in Jerusalem. In recent times, Reform Judaism has transformed Tisha B'Av into a day to remember many Jewish tragedies that have occurred throughout history.  Join us this week for TBC's Mystical Tisha B'Av service, Friday at 6:30 pm, and a special Tisha B'Av torah study session on Saturday morning at 9:30 am. The Founders' Fellowship

From Rabbi Bearman: "We know many college students from the TBC community who would be perfect for this fellowship opportunity! Calling all incoming college freshman, sophomores, and juniors! 'Just as our founders were unwilling to sit idly by and accept the status quo, so too are we looking to act towards renewal. Are you ready to shift paradigms and re-imagine progressive Jewish life on campus?'"
