Parish Hall Chosen as Worship Site While Sanctuary is Renovated
After reviewing nearly 40 different worship location options, the All Saints Parish Hall has been chosen as our "home away from home" while the Sanctuary undergoes a major seismic upgrade.

The Sunday Worship Transition Team spent the past several months reviewing options, researching costs and analyzing logistical challenges as they worked to develop a recommendation to the Vestry.

"It was far more challenging than ever imagined", said committee chair Charley Cairns. Besides costs, there were dozens of other factors, include seating capacity, parking availability, set up/take down of each service, rooms for Sunday School, Altar/Flower Guild storage areas, access to space, and much more. See the criteria developed by the committee at this link.

The main question regarding the use of the Parish Hall focused predominantly on how many "comfortable" seats could be set up to meet our needs. We then met with the County Building Department and the Fire District in June and each settled on a capacity of roughly 90 seats. We were on!

While this will require four worship services each Sunday, the mix of which is still to be determined, we know this was the best option for the parish. The results of parishioner feedback following the June 11 Town Hall was clear: let's stay on campus!

Please stay tuned for important information in August regarding how we can all weigh in regarding service times and options, including the possibility of a service late afternoon on a Saturday or Sunday for the approximately 20 months we'll be worshiping in the Parish Hall.

Nearly 150 members of the parish joined the June 11 Town Hall. There was nearly unanimous support by the parish to worship in the Parish Hall as a result of the information shared at the meeting. Click on the photo to take you to more information.

Want to Inter Your Ashes in the All Saints Columbarium?
The All Saints Memorial Chapel with Columbarium is going to be a reality. So it's time to determine if you and your immediate family are interested in having cremated remains interred in a niche in the Columbarium or if you would like to have the names of loved ones engraved on a Memorial Plaque in the Colubarium. More than 50 parish members have already signed up.

Miramar Hotel Construction Update
As is visible from the freeway and our Church campus,
the Miramar Hotel construction survived the heavy winter rains and is in full construction mode.

During this summer, the temporary
fencing and aging landscaping between the Parish School/Parish Hall are being removed while infrastracture work and permanent walls will be built.  See the photos behind the Parish School at this link!

Known as the Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito, the project is on target to open in 2018, likely about a year from now. The hotel has worked hand-in-hand with Church staff and volunteers, especially our Parish School Director Padric Davis and the Sanctuary Preservation and Readiness Project  manager Alyson Eyer-Delevett.
