Genomics Jam Session
Interdisciplinary Research Group Grant Program Now Accepting Applications 

In order to stimulate the creation of interdisciplinary research groups at Rutgers around topics likely to be supported by future federal and private funding, the Office of Research and Economic Development created a grant program that provides $50,000 in funding, with a required equal match, to support collaborative research projects.

Clinical Trials Registration and Results Reporting Policy

To assist research faculty with clinical trials registration and results reporting in meeting new federal guidelines, Rutgers' Office of Research Regulatory Affairs issued the Clinical Trials Registration and Results Reporting Policy

The  policy is intended to provide an organizational framework and support to University investigators responsible for complying with regulation, grantor requirements and/or publication standards regarding registration and reporting.

The policy applies to all faculty, staff and other employees, students, or other individuals conducting clinical trials requiring registration and results reporting on University premises, using University property or facilities, and University Institutional Review Board (IRB) authorization.
National Institutes of Health Announces Important Changes to Clinical Trial Requirements for Grants & Contracts Involving Human Subjects

National Institutes of Health (NIH) is launching a series of initiatives and policy changes that are rolling out in 2017-2018 to enhance the accountability and transparency of clinical research. These initiatives target key points along the whole clinical trial lifecycle from concept to results reporting.

2017 Busch Biomedical Grant Awards Announced

The Office of Research and Economic Development has awarded 12 faculty members, out of a pool of 61 total applicants, funding under the Busch Biomedical Grant Program for the 2017 cycle. Six applicants were awarded Seed grants, three received bridging grants, and three were awarded collaborative grants.
 
The 12 awardees were selected by a committee of senior research faculty and administrators at Rutgers based on the truly impactful nature of their proposals and their strong likelihood of securing future funding.
