Nominations - Bruce Cabral Scholarship

       Each year ALERT International provides an educational scholarship in honor of Past President and Charter Member Bruce Cabral  to children of current ALERT Members.  The Board of Directors are accepting applications for our 2017 Educational Scholarship.

        This scholarship is open to any current (paid up) member of ALERT International.  So if you have son or daughter that is in college and would benefit from a financial scholarship please go to www.alertinternational.com under the "About" button on the menu bar is more information or click here and it will take you to that site.

       We MUST have all applications by September 1, 2017.  Should you have any questions please contact President Al Liebno at [email protected].

Z-Man Award

      Officer Mark Y. Zylawy, "Z-Man", a highly regarded Portland, Oregon police officer, died January 27, 2008 in a  tragic and untimely accident at the age of 40. He worked as a district officer in Northeast Portland for 17 years with passion, dedication and enthusiasm throughout his career.  For more information about Mark and this annual award go to www.alertinternational.com under the "About" button on the Main Menu bar is additional information regarding how to nominate someone.

      We will be accepting 2017 Z-Man Award nominees until September 1, 2017.  So if you work with someone, know someone or have heard that a particular person has met the requirements to be considered a recipient of this most prestigious award please go to the above website or click here and complete the nomination process.

        If you have not registered for the 2017 ALERT International
Training Symposium/ Conference (September 25-29, 2017) you are going to miss out on one of the most beneficial and informational training events available to EVO instructors. DO NOT delay any longer go to www.alertconference.org  and complete your registration today. Also, while on the Conference Website check out the Conference Itinerary. 

        The  Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri is the site of this year's Training Symposium/Conference. There limited rooms left at the  Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza.  But  DO NOT delay any longer in making your reservations to ensure you have a room.   Once the current block of rooms are gone ALERT will not be able to reserve any additional rooms.     We are offering the Below 100 course again this year. The program will be presented on Friday, September 29th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Both the Below 100 course and the Below 100 Instructor course will be presented.  If you only want the Below 100 course that is the morning (ONLY) session.
