Be comfortable and ride longer with cooling vests!
Here in west Texas the mercury was hovering near 100 this weekend. How bout some items that can keep you comfortable on those hot summer days... cooling vests, saddle cushions and mesh jackets/pants.
If you have a mesh jacket and still feel like you're boiling, you've got to try one of these handy little vests. They are like evaporative coolers for your jacket, you get it wet, put it on under your mesh and get out and ride. You'll stay comfortable for a lot longer than you would without it!
Easy fit and you don't need special equipment in your jacket, this doesn't attach to the jacket itself. Useful off the bike too (like mowing the lawn, watching your kids play tennis, etc).
This vest works with select REV'IT jackets (namely full mesh styles and some vented textiles). It's the same idea as the Hyperkewl, and if you have a compatible REV'IT jacket it gives a super slick installation.
Note: It is not designed as a stand-alone vest for use in other brands of jackets.
See our product page for size selection based on your jacket size.
Here's what Kevin K had to say:Rev'it like you love it! Zips into the Sand 2 not suspended over the shoulder; Great! Provides cool micro climate inside jacket. Best price and shipping again with Paul's customer's service & immaculate reviews!
Nothing shortens a ride like a sore butt! Even worse if it's hot!
These gel seats provide cushion and natural cooling. Add one to your order, you'll be glad you did! Easy to put on over your saddle, they come with a snap strap to secure the cushion. Put one on and enjoy the ride in comfort.
And of course,
mesh jackets and
pants are essential for summertime riding
I know, we say it all the time. But, you really can't beat mesh for staying cool, keeping the sun and wind off your skin and protecting yourself in the process. We've got jackets and pants for every budget and every style and if you haven't tried mesh, maybe now's the time.
Headliners and skull caps wick moisture, reduce irritation and help keep you cooler. They're not much money, under $20, and you'll be glad you got one! They'll help keep your helmet liner clean too.
