2016-17 S'HERO OF THE YEAR | BRIANNA PINTO
Pinto has been playing in the ECNL for the past four years with CASL. In January, Pinto became one of the youngest call-ups to the full U.S. Women's National Team at the age of 16. She is committed to play collegiate soccer at the University of North Carolina, following high school graduation in 2018.

ECNL BRINGS MANY OF NATION'S BEST OFFICIALS TO NATIONAL EVENTS
The 2017 ECNL National Finals, held July 7-8 in San Diego, CA, featured some of the most qualified referees in the nation officiating games being played at the country's top level of youth female soccer. None were strangers to the ECNL as they each worked multiple ECNL competitions throughout the year and were selected based on their performances. 
 
TOP PLAYERS ACROSS THE U.S. COMPETE AT THE ECNL NATIONAL TRAINING CAMP
The 2017 ECNL National Training Camp took place at the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon from July 27-31, 2017, with over 90 of the best players from across the country born in 2001, 2000, and 1999 coming together to train and compete with each other under the guidance of some of the best coaches in youth soccer. 

H.E.R. COACHING SCHOLARSHIP SPOTLIGHT | DIANDRA ALIAGA
Diandra Aliaga is currently a student-athlete at the University of Texas Rio Grande, and an ECNL Alum out of Challenge SC in Houston, TX. She recently completed the USSF "E" coaching course, and looks forward to pursuing additional coaching education opportunities, as coaching is a passion she hopes to pursue after her playing days conclude.

ALABAMA FC ECNL TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN BUSA SERVES DAY
Each year after team camp Alabama FC hosts BUSA Serves Day, in which each team participates in a service project. This year for the first time ever, every team in the club worked collectively on a singular project: collecting items and organizing gift bags to be passed out to every patient and family currently in Children's Hospital of Alabama.
