Foster, Promote, Adopt!
Studies show that the average time to a furry guest's new home is 14 days and will free up additional space for us to save many more animals.

As you can see, we have a full calendar of events in addition to the daily operational needs at the shelter.  Our volunteers are a vital and integral part of everything we do to help care for our furry guests.

Gilly just learned that August 17th is National Black Cat Appreciation Day!

AUGUST RECOGNITION

TCRAS would like to thank our wonderful staff who worked with limited access to areas of the shelter, and families that volunteered to foster guests during the kennel resurfacing project. Our staff continued to care for our guests and adapted to the challenges of not having laundry, food prep or dish washing facilities!  We had amazing volunteers who opened their homes to foster and we appreciate that you gave our guests a wonderful home while the kennels were unavailable.  If you haven't seen the kennels, please stop by.  We'd love to see you!!
Spotlight Pet!

Shutters for Shelters captures the soul of each of our guests...we don't know how they do it but are so thankful that they volunteer their time to do so!!
Introducing DAISY! This sweet girl is shy at first but would love to have a stable and loving home where she could enjoy playing fetch, going for hikes and telling you how awesome you are with those gorgeous brown eyes!
