Dr. Denise Rodgers believes that "zip code is more important than genetic code" when it comes to individuals' health outcomes. Since graduating from medical school, Rodgers has been immersed in the health of people who live in the overlooked and underserved zip codes within a city.


Trenton's Greenwood Ave. Farmer's Market has made its mark on the community and the statewide media. The unique market was recently featured in a special NJTV broadcast.

While preschools have served as a great avenue for health intervention in the community, delivering health promotion information directly to preschool parents has proved challenging.

Residents of the Trenton community will learn the importance of water conservation and hydration during the Greenwood Ave. Farmers Market's Water Fest on Monday, July 31.


The Greenwood Ave. Farmers Market continues to be the only farmers market in New Jersey to offer free USDA summer meals to children.


The healthiest snacks are grown naturally, and farmers markets are great places to find affordable and healthy produce. This year, National Farmers Market Week is August 6 - 12, 2017.


Quick, easy, and healthy snacks are the ideal choice for people of all ages, but it isn't always easy to tell which is best to munch on.
