Business Alert: Collection of Sweetened Beverage Tax
The Cook County Sweetened Beverage Tax (SBT) goes into effect on Wednesday, August 2. Both the first installment of the SBT and the floor tax must be remitted to the County by September 20. Returns and tax for subsequent months are due by the 20th of the month following the taxable month.

Small Business Development Workshop with Senator Duckworth
Join U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth as she hosts panelists from the Small Business Administration (SBA), Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC), Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), the Chicago-Cook Workforce Partnership and more. The event will feature a panel discussion led by Senator Tammy Duckworth regarding federal and local resources available to small businesses.
