Congratulations to all of the Zone 3 members who participated in the 2017 USHJA Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter Regional Championships, presented by SmartPak, June 21-25 at Atlanta Summer Classic II in Conyers, Georgia! 

In the Adult Amateur Team Championship,  Angela Pollex, Sandra Savage and Vicki Autry earned the bronze medal. Click here to read more about the Team Championships.

Zone 3 Members Compete at FEI North American Children's, Junior and Young Rider Championships
Congratulations to Zone 3 members who participated in the Adequan/FEI North American Children's, Junior and Young Rider Championships, presented by Gotham North, July 18-23 at HITS in Saugerties, New York. 

Children's:  Emma Pell , 14, Winchester, Va.

Junior:  Taylor St. Jacques , 18, Glen Allen, Va.

Young Rider:  Adam Rittenberg , 20, Beech Mountain, N.C.

St. Jacques was part of the bronze medal Junior Team and was fourth place in the Junior Individual Championship.  Click here  to view full results.

WIHS Regional Horse Show Upper Marlboro, Md.

Qualifying Criteria:  Letters of invitation to compete in USHJA Zone 3 Championships will be emailed or mailed in mid-September. Approximately the top 20 horses in each section, based on total USEF zone points, will be invited. The qualifying period includes shows starting on or after December 1, 2016, through shows starting on or before August 31, 2016. Exhibitors will be given one week to accept the invitation. Additional horses will be invited, if invitations are not accepted.  Horses, ponies and riders participating in the USHJA Zone 3 Championships on Sunday also may compete in the WIHS Regional Horse Show.
