August. It's hot. It's muggy. It's a GREAT time to welcome another store to Paul's Family of Local Hardware Stores! Help us welcome our
EIGHTH location,
Paul's Ace Hardware Via Linda up in north Scottsdale to our family! We are thrilled yet again to help find solutions to our neighbors in Scottsdale. In the coming months there will be some updating to make sure your shopping experience there is every bit you are accustomed to by shopping at a Paul's location. Be sure to stop in and check us out! You know what else is exciting?! The fact that we
are rounding the corner on summer and school is back in session, (or almost back in session for some). Do I hear a "what what"?!?! I typically sing (in a very loud and obnoxious fashion) the song "
School Days"
to the kids the first day of school as my dad did for me. I took this video a few years ago for my daughters first day of Kindergarten so you can get the idea. It's still one of my favorite parenting traditions that I enjoy and am pretty proud of. Try it! Your kids will love it, trust me! Ha!
Well there is a lot more to be enjoyed in August - we have the
CMN Bucket Sale this coming Friday and Saturday, August 4th-5th. Donate $5 to get your CMN Blue Bucket and then save 20% off of everything you can throw in it!* Your $5 donation stays here in Arizona and goes straight to Phoenix Children's Hospital. What a great cause! We are also asking for your help. We challenged our stores to create fun displays with the Blue Buckets and the winning store gets lunch for two days for the entire staff. Retirement Party!
If you are up in the cool-er country of Payson on August 12th, please stop in for a retirement party for the former owners, John and Claudette. After 29 years they are hanging up the hammer and look forward to some fun :) There will be Live Music, sample food from Big Green Egg and 20% off of most everything in the store from 11-2. The laughs are on your valley Ace Hardware stores on September 21st as we host our 4th Annual, A Night at the Tempe Improv! The ENTIRE amount of your $25 ticket will go to our local Phoenix Children's Hospital. So join us to see a favorite local headliner, Jill Kimmel - Jimmy Kimmel's sister !
