Hike the John P. and Jean L. Wedick Natural Reserve with us and enjoy this privately owned peice of conserved land being open to the public for this hike only. The 120-acre property is unusually diverse. Most prominently, it lies at the bottom of an ancient glacial lake and offers unmistakeable evidence of our region’s geological past, with layers of sand and gravel (varves). Join us on Wednesday August 30th to learn more about the areas geologic history!

The summer nature walks are open to hikers of all ages and abilities, this walk is relatively flat and will be at a slow to moderate pace. To keep the experience great for everyone we are only able to take 12 participants on this hike, please make sure to pre-register by August 29. If there is enough interest we may have the opportunity to add another trip to this property so don't hesitate to let us know if you're interested.  As always kids are encouraged to come along and dogs are always welcome!
