Sharks are attacking.
Last week was the opening of the Swim with the Sharks Pitch Competition. It began with the first of two workshops to help contestants with creating an effective pitch. This workshop was a hands-on workshop based on the Growth Wheel worksheets to help the business community create a pitch based on their audience.
For the fifth year in a row, the Emerging Enterprise Center is having the Swim with the Sharks Pitch Competition to help the entrepreneurial ecosystem in New Castle County and surrounding areas. This program has evolved over the years and the contest is now offering Prizes totally over $20,000 in cash and services to two (2) winners.
The program has already had great success with some of it's previous winners being, Penguin Ads (now known as Carvertise).

Vibrating Therapeutic Apparel
is making waves all over the tri-state area with winning contests to help advance her product and get it to market. Expect to see great things from both of these companies as well as our other winners through the years.
The EEC is urging all those that know entrepreneurs that are less than 3 years in business to become part of the program, attend the workshops, submit a video, get exposure and brand awareness that is not normally available to start-up companies, and put their business in the running for a chance to win the Grand Prize of over $20,000 in cash and services.
