Don't Pay the College Sticker Price

Discover ways to make a college education more affordable and less of a financial burden with help from Joe Orsolini of College Aid Planners. COD Adult Admissions Open House

Drop in for a one-on-one meeting with an adult admissions representative from College of DuPage to learn more about attending COD and have your questions answered. The fall term begins August 21. 
Empowerment through Yoga
Friday, July 14 | 11 am-12:30 pm
Unlock the power within! Kids will learn exercises in self-reflection and improve their self-esteem in this yoga workshop with Gina Slager, a certified yoga instructor and self-empowerment coach. Make a calming meditation jar to take home with you. For grades 6-8. Reserve your spot.

GEPL Reads: Supplies 4 Success
Now through August 21
Read your way through enough fascinating, scintillating titles this summer and you'll help in-need kids get brand new backpacks and school supplies!

The Glen Ellyn Public Library is partnering with Supplies 4 Success, a locally-based charitable organization, that raises money to give in-need students in Glen Ellyn District 41 and Community Consolidated District 89 a school supply kit and backpack. When the community collectively reaches this year's summer reading goals, the Friends of the Glen Ellyn Public Library and the Glen Ellyn Library Foundation have each pledged funds that will buy supply-filled backpacks for 80 local children. Jazz Up Glen Ellyn

Enjoy a day and night of live jazz performances and jam sessions in downtown Glen Ellyn. Curated by artistic director and jazz guitarist Fareed Haque, twelve amazing Jazz groups will play continuously as you arrange your picnic spot, pour a glass of wine, stretch your legs and find the treasures that await. Don't forget to explore the many downtown shops and restaurants open for the event. Presented by the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn.
