President's Message:
Greetings NTMCA Members!
July is a month of fireworks and vacations. Wherever your travels take you this summer, be safe, have fun, and enjoy your family. As we celebrate our nation's Independence Day, remember the many blessings of living in this country. Those that fight for our freedoms deserve our respect and appreciation every day.
JULY MEETING
Our annual Awards Luncheon was a great success. Many thanks to Theresa Scott for securing a wonderful location, caterer, and fun decorations, as well as for the centerpiece and gift card door prizes. Everyone enjoyed the Innovate Flower Mound Entrepreneur Center and fellowship among colleagues.
Mary Kayser of Fort Worth, our new IIMC President, was presented the NTMCA Clerk of the Year award. Mary had a very eventful year in her city, volunteering for our Chapter, and working on the IIMC Board. We can't thank her enough for her dedication and support. We are very proud of Mary's achievements!
Kim Sutter of Euless is the NTMCA Nominee for the TMCA Clerk of the Year award. Kim has been a longtime volunteer for our Chapter, has worked diligently on legislative issues, and continues her work on the TMCA Board of Directors. Kim is the current TMCA Treasurer and has served as Trustee. Kim deserves this recognition and more!
We also recognized our FY16-17 committee members. We appreciate their time and devotion to our organization. Please take a moment to reach out and thank each of these wonderful clerks. It is through their hard work that our Chapter functions so smoothly. We extended congratulations to the seven recertification, two first certification, and three enrollees passing exams in the first half of this year. Further congratulations to two more program enrollees that recently passed exams while attending the TMCCP seminar in June. We are proud to have such an involved and educated workforce as part of our Chapter!

I'd like to take a moment to recognize our NTMCA Board members. Vice President Sheila Morales, Treasurer Amy Shelley, Secretary Laura Bell and Historian Monica Solko have done a fabulous job this year! In addition to their "real jobs" and families, these ladies put in numerous hours supporting the programs and events our members enjoy each month. It truly is a group effort and I am honored to work with this team! Thank you ladies for all your hard work, encouragement and friendship!!
