Get to Know the Team
Sheri O'Brien is a new member of the ONU Team. Sheri started volunteering with ONU after she attended Cohort 18 Graduation at the PGA TOUR and was recently hired as Director of Veteran Employment. As an Air Force child and a Navy spouse, Sheri has a strong appreciation for our veterans and wants to give back to the Veteran Community.
Sheri saw the demand for the ONU programs when her husband transitioned from the Navy. Her role at ONU is her way of giving back to those who protected us and allow us to enjoy all the freedoms that we do. Sheri considers it an honor to help prepare and obtain a new career for our ONU Veterans.
Sheri and Mary, VP of Veteran Employment, work together to help Veterans attain their dream career. Her favorite part about her role at ONU is receiving an email from a Veteran that landed their dream job, saying, "It's an adrenaline rush like no other!"
