We are so proud of our amazing staff! This month, OP employees Josiah Early and Nancy Grayson were among six ARRM Cares winners out of nearly 100 nominees statewide. Each year, the Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota (ARRM) honors the best direct support professionals in Minnesota. Josiah and Nancy show outstanding compassion and professionalism. Lisa Vitkus was named Minnesota Organization for Habilitation and Rehabilitation's (MOHR) Metro Employment Service award winner! As an OP Job Developer, Lisa believes in every person she serves. Through her service at OP, she has impacted the lives of over 160 people with disabilities by helping them secure independent, community jobs!

Congratulations to Josiah, Nancy and Lisa. We are so proud of you and the incredible work that you do!

Last month, Asplin Center held its annual art show. The halls were filled wall to wall with incredible paintings, drawings and photos. Thank you to everyone who attended!

The annual residential picnic was held at Veterans Memorial Park earlier this month. Everyone enjoyed lawn games, a traveling photo booth, a nacho dinner and an overall beautiful day!

The federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (W.I.O.A.) requires people we serve who are working and paid according to their level of productivity to complete career counseling with the Metropolitan Centers for Independent Living (MCIL) no later than July and annually thereafter.

• Beginning in July, we will no longer be able to offer work opportunities to people who have not completed this process.
• For individuals with guardians, the guardian's signature is required on the forms MCIL completes at these meetings.
• Refusing to participate in this process will mean that you may no longer be able to work at Opportunity Partners.

If you have not completed the required paperwork, please contact your OP Service Coordinator as soon as possible so you can continue to work for OP!
