Hello PJ Families!

August is always a little bittersweet for me--there's still a month full of sunny days ahead, but it's that much closer to the start of a new school year. I hope you find some time to enjoy the final days of summer.

If you are still looking for something for your child to do, our Summer J-Camp program is always a great option for children ages 3 to 15 to make the most of their last few weeks of summer vacation. Each week is filled with lots of fun activities and  includes:
  • Lunch and snacks provided daily
  • Coordinated Judaic themes that focus on universal human values
  • Swim lessons for all campers
  • Weekly field trips & special visitors
  • Lots of outdoor play
  • Activities including art, cooking, sports, science & nature, acting, travel, and more!
Looking ahead, September will bring a new year of programming, so be sure to check out our Fall Program Guide. New this year, Shlomo the Sloth puppet will be joining our monthly PJ Library Story Times at the Dwares JCC, along with more music and movement. We will also schedule open art studio time for an opportunity to get your creative juices flowing without the mess in your home. More details to follow.

As always, should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I would also love the opportunity to get to know you and your family. If you are in the building, stop by and say "hi," or let's meet for coffee. I am always looking for feedback about how we can best meet your programming needs.

Enjoy August....I know I will certainly be savoring it!
