Changes are coming to the Somers Library! You may have noticed that the vestibule project has started, and we expect it to be completed early this month. Once the vestibule is complete we will begin our bathroom renovation. During this time we may have to close some of our entrances for periods of time. We ask for your patience  while these projects are underway, and look forward to their completion.

Bits and Pieces

Flowers: The flowers that you see at the library are sponsored by the Friends of Somers Library and donated by local businesses. We thank Mancini Realty for donating this month's flower arrangement.

Artist: Our featured artist this month is Rhonda Gentry. Rhonda is known for her
landscape paintings, still life paintings, flowers and other subjects. She enjoys painting intuitively; just letting go and getting her whole body involved. She loves colors, especially vivid rich colors. Patterns and textures play an integral role in her work, and when all three are combined with intuitive painting, it takes her to a happy place in which she gets lost painting.

If you are interested in displaying your art, please email somersartgallery@wls
mail.org for an application.
