July Adoption Promotion

Our July Red, White, and Mew Adoption Promotion will be continuing through all of July.  To celebrate our country's independence, we have adoption specials on all cats with orange, white, or gray fur (red, white, and blue).  Besides the many cute kittens that are now available for adoption, we have many older and more settled cats that would love to be part of a caring home.  Please stop by the shelter soon and visit with our kitties!

Please visit our Facebook page for more information.

Visit our website to view all our cats available for adoption.

Note: our standard adoption  screening process applies to this promotion. Further, for cats age ten and older and cats with chronic medical problems we offer our Perpet-U-Care Program which provides
$250 of veterinary care services at the CCS Cat Clinic annually.
Opt To Adopt Mallory
Hi there... my name is Mallory!  I'm a beautiful 4 year old queen, looking for my own castle to rule.  I used to have a family, but suddenly one day they left me at a strange place full of other cats.  I never saw them again, and I still don't know why I was left behind.  I've been waiting for them to come back, and it's been a long time now.  I know that I can be somewhat bossy.  I know how I want to be petted, and I want to be the one to decide when I sit on a lap and when to go play.  That's probably to be expected from such an amazing cat as me.  I do not care for dogs, but I would be fine with other cats as long as I can be the queen of the house.  I have long hair, and although I don't like having it brushed, sometimes I do need a bit of help keeping it looking gorgeous.  I really would like to find my kingdom, and some loving humans.  I miss having a family of my own.  Come in and meet me today, I'll be a wonderful queen, I promise!

New at Meow Mart-
Cat Ball Beds
We now carry in the Meow Mart three models of cat ball beds which are not only cozy for kitties to snooze in, but make wonderful play areas as well! They are made in the United States and are of high quality fabric.  Stop by the Meow Mart and treat your cat to a new experience!

Foster Parent
Opportunities
CCS is always in need of foster parents, so if you have been thinking about fostering there is no better time than now!  People usually think of young kittens in regard to fostering, and we always have a need for those volunteers.  However, we frequently have adult cats who would benefit from time in a foster home.  Sometimes an older kitty may need more socialization, extra love and attention, or special care in some other way. A foster parent can often help these cats so much, and it is very  rewarding for the person as well.
If you are interested in learning about foster parent opportunities, please contact Shelter Manager, Rianda Copeland at [email protected].

Cat House Gallery

Next time you are at the shelter, please stop by the lower level where the Clinic is located and visit the Cat House Gallery.   The clinic waiting  room is now also a wonderful art gallery and much of the art work is created by staff, volunteers, and our Painted Cats artists!

The artwork on display is part of the Cat House Gallery which hosts rotating artwork for sale in the Cat Clinic waiting area. Art shows will alternate every few months and include various themes. Best of all, 40% of the art sales directly benefit the cats at CCS and to date we have sold over 30 paintings.
