This will be a New Issue reading session of choral music from a wide variety of publishers. Attendees will receive a packet of approximately 40 octavos for each session they attend. There will be 50 packets available for each session.  

Reply to this email  ,call 314-942-3088 (Dick Boyd's direct choral line) or 314-291-4686 (mail line) to reserve your space. At the conclusion of the reading sessions, any remaining packets can be purchased for $15 each. You can pay by credit card or bill your school/church. 

There will be an hour break between sessions for lunch. There are a number of nearby restaurants you can go to, and Dick Boyd will be happy to provide you with recommendations!

The Middle School session will be led by Raynard Brown.  Raynard received his Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Baptist University and a Master's Degree in Education from Lindenwood University.  He began his teaching career at Lebanon Junior High School in Lebanon, MO. During his 15 year tenure, his choir received many honors as well as performed four times for the Missouri Music Educator Conferences. In 2000, Raynard took the position of Director of Choirs at Parkway Northeast Middle School in Creve Coeur, MO. Under his direction, the concert choir performed at the Missouri Music Educators conference is 2005. Before retiring in May of 2015, Raynard's choral program grew to over 400 students.  Currently, he serves as adjunct professor of choirs and choral conducting at Maryville University in Chesterfield, MO.  He is also actively involved as guest conductor of Kantorei Music Camps, honor choirs, choral festivals and gospel music workshops throughout Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. 

The High School session will be led by Kelly Dame.  Kelly Dame is the Choral Director at West Plains High School, in West Plains, Missouri. She received her Bachelor and Master's Degree in Music Education from Arkansas State University and has several hours in secondary administration from Missouri State University. She has taught Choral Music for 47 years, 45 of those years being at West Plains High School. Kelly's teaching responsibilities include 5th grade general music, 6th grade general music, 6th grade choir, 7th & 8th grade general music, grades 9 through 12 Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, The Plainsmen, Madrigal Singers, and Swing Set. Her choirs have won numerous awards, performed for district, state and national conventions and have toured internationally. Her choirs have performed as Ambassadors of Friendship through music to the United Kingdom, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Russia, Peoples Republic of China, Finland, Italy, Poland, Germany, Croatia, and Slovenia.  Kelly is a member of IFCM, NAfME, MMEA, ACDA, MCDA, NEA and MNEA. She has received many awards including the MCDA Luther Spayde award, MCDA President's Award of Excellence,  West Plains Citizen of the Year, Professional Woman of the Year, Missouri Music Educator of the Year, West Plains Teacher of the Year, and West Plains Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year to name a few. She has played Viola with the West Plains Regional Orchestra, was music director of the community theatre summer musical for ten years and is in her thirtieth year as music director of the West Plains First Presbyterian Church.
