It's that time of the year when I start making jams for the Great Yard Sale. Since we always do well, I'll be making as much as I can of hot pepper jam, strawberry, strawberry/rhubarb, blueberry, orange marmalade, peach marmalade, apricot marmalade, grape, cherry, tripleberry and other concoctions I can come up with. So again this year, I ask is you can bring any empty jelly jars (8 oz. or 4 oz.) to the church and leave them in the office. Also, if you have any extra rhubarb growing, I'd appreciate that now. I would also love if you have any lightweight fabric suitable to use as coverings on jars, and season laying around (do not buy). Other veggies or fruits I will use include: red bell peppers, Jalapeno peppers, strawberries, blueberries, oranges, peaches, apricots, cherries, Concord grapes, plus anything you suggest. If you grow these in your garden, please save a little for me.
