Spotlight1SPOTLIGHT

On June 27, 110 individuals from 40 organizations gathered together at the Odle Middle School in Bellevue for the first Eastside Racial Equity Summit to align existing equity initiatives, deepen individual understanding and commitment to the work, and to set forth a common regional goal towards a more equitable Eastside.

The Pacific Educational Group held a regional summit in Bellevue for the first time on June 27-28. The community from around the Northwest engaged in a deepened conversation about systemic racism and its impact on opportunity and achievement for all people.

Eastside Pathways Board Chair,  Alaric Bien ; Board Member,  Alka Manchanda ; and Communications & Operations Manager,   Sujata Agrawal  share their experience of attending the Beyond Diversity session - the starting point for Courageous Conversation.
