Two of the School District’s outstanding business partners were recognized by Commissioner of Education Pam Stewart at the 30th Annual Florida Department of Education Commissioner’s Business Recognition Awards on June 14, 2017. School District business partners Brooks Hannula owner of Horace Mann Company, and Dr. Tomer Haik DDS PA, were among the more than 40 businesses and individuals honored at the event. Teachers Get Red Carpet Treatment During Teacher Fest
Hundreds of new and returning teachers descended on Park Vista Community High School for TeacherFest on August 4 for an exciting, full day of orientation and learning.
The teachers were greeted with an actual red carpet, flanked on each side by energetic students and cheerleaders waving pom poms. A drum line and marching band added to the celebratory atmosphere. Learn more
