Toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years old.

The Early Intervention Parent Group (EI Parent Group) is an ongoing monthly gathering  for parents/guardians raising toddlers with special needs. The group will share in discussion and  activities with the final 15 minutes to include  a fun story time for the children, lead by the Children's Librarian.

with Confirmed Hearing Loss

These groups will be facilitated by a Teacher of the Deaf, a Speech-Language Pathologist and an Educational Audiologist. They will be supportive, informational and include an educational component which will help you understand your child's hearing loss, while learning strategies and techniques to help develop the child's auditory, speech and language skills.

The event will be held at Montclair State University, 1 Normal Avenue, 
Montclair, NJ 07043 in  University Hall-7th Floor.

"Selected NJ Autism Center of Excellence researchers will present a 15-minute talk on their research findings.  Scheduled topics include Etiology (causes) of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cross and Multidisciplinary Inquiries of ASD, Life Span Interventions and Supports of ASD,   Diagnostics  and Classification Systems of ASD and Neurodiversity and Social Views of ASD.  After each presentation, there will be time for open discussion from the audience with the presenter and other NJ ACE researchers.  Come and have your voice be heard and contribute to ASD research in NJ!"   Find More Information  Here

14th Annual Buddy Walk of South Plainfield, NJ 

The Annual Buddy Walk of South Plainfield is planned for  October 7th , 2 017 at Putnam Park in South Plainfield, NJ.  Registration starts at 11:30 am  and the walk begins at 1:00 pm.  Online registration is open until September 29, 2017 at 5:00 pm. After that date, register at the walk.
