The August dates are:  08/14/17 & 08/23/17.  The time is 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Volunteers are needed to help in this ministry to cook once or twice a month.  You can contact Nancy Patterson at 706-347-4040 or email Crissie, our secretary, at c [email protected] to let them know what dates you can serve. 
Men's Ministry
A Men's Ministry prayer breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
Church 213 T-shirts 
We will be placing an order for "I Love My Church" t-shirts. The colors available are orange or blue. The cost of the t-shirt will be determined once we know how many to order. There are sign-up sheets at the Welcome desk for each color. The deadline for ordering will be August 20th.   
Tumblers & Decals
Church 213 Tumblers and Decals are now available to order.  We have one of each on the table located under the TV.  There is a sign-up sheet if you would like to order one or both.  The prices are as follows:
30 oz Tumbler - $25.00
20 oz Tumbler - $20.00
Decals - $5.00
Payment is due when ordered.  You can give your payment to Carrie East or Crissie Burford.  If you pay by check the check will need to be made out to Church 213 and memo which item you are purchasing.
Prayer Request
We will now have a weekly prayer request list located at the Welcome desk.  This list will be updated each week and copies made available to all members.  You can email Crissie at [email protected] or Pastor Stan with any prayer request and they will be added to the list.
August 12, 2017 - August 19, 2017
GRITS Retreat
The GRITS Retreat is scheduled August 25th and 26th . So far we have 23 going! It's not too late to go if you know someone else that wants to go. Here's the details: we have 2 villas at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee for Friday night ,
August 25 and Saturday night , August 26. Check in is not until 4:00 p.m. on Friday . Everyone who is staying or coming needs to let Angela Gary know what nights they will be staying and if they can help with dinners, lunch, snacks, and drinks.  
Welcome to the Wyatt's 
We are planning a Welcome to the Wyatt's luncheon after church on 09/10/17. There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome desk. Please sign-up and list the number of people in your party so we can plan accordingly.
 
Israel Trip
Pastor Stan has planned  a trip to the Holy Land.  Israel Biblical Mission Tours will arrange an Israel experience, led by Pastor Stan.  The tour is entitled
  "A 9 Day Walk in the Footsteps of Jesus" .  Dates for the trip are November 10 - November 18, 2017.  There is more information regarding this trip at the Welcome desk if you are interested or talk with Pastor Stan.
Missions Opportunity
Are you interested in being part of the Africa 2018 Mission Team?  Were you inspired by the pictures and stories of God's work in Zambia?  We are currently enlisting our next team for July 1-12, 2018.  There is a sign up sheet on the Information Counter.  Please place your name on the sheet and the first 11 spots will be designated as the 2018 team.  There is only 1 spot remaining.  Names listed under those names will be "on standby" in the event someone has to back out.  The cost of the trip will be approximately $3000 (exact cost cannot be determined until airline fares are released) so if you would like to make payments, the monthly payment from now until next July will be $250 per person..  A $250.00 deposit is requested by August 13, 2017 to reserve your spot.  If you need more info, please contact Pastor Stan or Nancy.
