Your POA received the following information from the Garret County Chamber of Commerce:
"To combat some false reports that have been circulating, Deep Creek Lake is not being drained and there is no presence of zebra mussels, an aquatic invasive species of shellfish. Deep Creek Lake is full and healthy. Please see the following news release from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources about preventing zebra mussels from entering Deep Creek Lake earlier this month:

THE LAKE IS NOT BEING DRAINED!
