Destiny
This week takes us on an Eastbound Road Trip, so time spent at my computer is limited.  No news or commentary on current events, just my favorite saying, my favorite musician and some happiness advice to hold you over till next Friday...

Happiness
This joyful advice is a reprint from one of my past emails and these w ords of wisdom come from Marci Shimoff (Chicken Soup for the Soul author) via Kelly Rogers Victor's Kale and Kant.
1. Develop a Kind Mind -  Our thoughts seem to have a mind of their own, but our actions are entirely in our hands. Many of our thoughts are of the negative persuasion but if we can become active in thinking positive by reminding ourselves of the good fortunes in our lives, that will limit our brains from those negative thoughts that block our happiness.
2. Give Love, Service, and Appreciation - Our biology is built to gain pleasure when we do good for others.  The more we help, give and appreciate...the more happiness we will experience.  Our physical body also benefits when we give and receive love.
3. Live your Passion and Dreams - Self explanatory.

Loneliness
And this week's musical selection comes from my High School crush, Cat Stevens.  This was his first protest song in the 60s and this version of "Blackness of the Night" has an updated message. It reflects on the refugee family-less children who wanders the lonely and dark streets of their existence.   http://catstevens.com/new-single-yusuf-cat-stevens-2/?mc_cid=e4d00d7ff9&mc_eid=f89b795d7b

Wishing you and your family a
Sweet and Peaceful Shabbat Shalom.

Congrats

Congrats to (Drs.) Chris Beeler and Whitney Hitchcock on their nuptials this weekend.  We are thrilled to help the young couple celebrate and we wish them Health, Happiness, Peace and Prosperity for a long life together (with Tulip).

Condolences

Condolences to Fan, Friends and Family of the multi-talented Glenn Campbell who died in Nashville this week at the age of 81. After his public announcement that he was suffering from the soul-stealing disease of alzheimer, he bravely journeyed back on the road for a final concert tour.  Hopefully one day this dreaded disease with be eradicated from human nature.
