Week of July 5, 2017 Edition

 'NextGen:

Civic Impact for West Hollywood's Next Generation'

Thursday, July 20, 2017
Andaz Hotel
(8401 Sunset Blvd.)
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FREE!
"NextGen: Civic Impact for West Hollywood's Next Generation" will spark new ideas and connections that will ignite civic impact for the City's next generation.

Nearly half of residents in City of West Hollywood are under the age of 40. Yet many younger people in the city are not actively engaged in local decision-making. The 'NextGen' is passionate about a myriad of issues, yet this age group is disproportionately underrepresented at all levels of governmental leadership, as well as in the voting electorate.

The evening will highlight opportunities to get involved in City Advisory Boards and Commissions, to get connected through the City's informative social media, and to work or do business with the City.
