Shopping, Food & Rock n' Roll Fun!
Shopping was in full force at the Amana Colonies before we ate our delicious meal at the Ronneburg Restaurant, family style. What a rock n' roll fun time we had with the Million Dollar Quartet at the Old Creamery Theatre in the Amanas! Our short stop at the Williamsburg Outlet Mall was the end to a fantastic day!
THANKS FOR JOINING US!

We were a small group, but what a fun time we had with Gina Lloyd from The Art Exchange in Panora. We made five different kinds of greeting cards; everybody thought their own cards were the best of the best! If you didn't make it, stop by The Art Exchange, we're sure Gina will find something for you to make! Be sure to join us at our next quarterly event on August 29 at 9:30 a.m. in the Barnett Room at Guthrie County State Bank in Guthrie Center.
DOOR PRIZE WINNERS
Lucky door prize winners at our May 18 social event were: Mary Williamson, Marlene Sunds, Karen Sievers, Dee Smith and Camille Kemble.
MORE THAN 40 TAKE THE MYSTERY TRIP!
Forty-four travelers enjoyed our three day Mystery Trip May 8-10. We traveled to the LaSalle, Illinois area and stayed at the Starved Rock Lodge & Conference Center located in the Starved Rock State Park.

The beautiful lodge was built by the
CCC's in the 1930s of logs and native stone. Activities included tours of the Hegeler Carus Mansion, the Weber House and Garden and a tribute to Dean Martin show held at the Great Hall of the Lodge. A highlight was a ride on a canal boat pulled by a somewhat stubborn mule! We all enjoyed good friendship, good entertainment and good food!
