PARK(ing) Day Call for Teams

Deadline: Monday, August 21

PARK(ing) Day is an international event where teams transform street spaces all over the world into mini parks or "parklets" for one day to raise public awareness around how we program and use public/shared spaces.  This year's event takes place on Friday, September 15, and AIA Charlotte is looking for teams to participate along Camden Rd. in the South End.

If you have a team ready to design and build a parklet, contact Lauren Burn now to indicate your interest and to learn details on sketch requirements. Sketch submissions will be due August 21. A limited number of parking spaces are available, so teams will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
