This Sunday, we are celebrating 7 precious gifts from God! The Yens, Recios, Whaleys, and Cambron-Mellotts are dedicating their children. We are so thankful to be able to join with parents in raising these babies! And...to top it off, Michael will continue his study on the prayers of the Apostle Paul.
Michael announced last Sunday, we will be returning to our regular Sunday schedule on August 27th, with service times at 10am & 11:30am. Would you do us a favor and take 30 seconds to

Small Group Leader Training
Saturday, August 19th, 9am-noon, in the Cafe
This training is designed to equip you with the basics of small group leadership. If you are considering starting a Small Group, are currently leading but have not had an opportunity to be trained, or if you are a seasoned leader who needs a refresher, this training is for you!

Young Adults Day at the Lake
Saturday, August 19th, 11am-7pm
Join other young adult (twentysomethings) for a day of fun at Lake Conroe. Swimming, boating, paddle boarding and other water sports. Contact

Students, teachers, and administrators of all ages are welcome to bring their backpacks this Sunday. We bless backpacks as a visual reminder that we take Jesus with us wherever we go.
Baptisms on Sunday, August 27
At VCH, baptism is a church-wide celebration of the redeeming work of God in the lives of men, women and children. The children's baptism class is August 13th or 20th during kid's church. Adult baptism class is on Tuesday, August 22 at 7pm. Register on the calendar, with the connecting card or contact David Gausepohl.
