EKC Special Awards Nominating Committee

The EKC needs to assemble this year's Special Awards Nominating Committee.

The nominating committee will meet in early July to review awards nominations and possibly discuss any additional candidates that the committee may like to recommend. The committee then submits EKC member nominees to the state Awards Chair by July 21. Committee members of this committee are committing to one or two meetings over the course of about a month.

If you are interested in serving on the Special Awards Committee please contact EKC President Melinda Joseph-Dezarn for more information.

Lexington Emerging Professionals Network

The Lexington Emerging Professionals Network (LEPN) was started in October of 2016, to provide architectural emerging professionals in the Lexington area an opportunity to network and participate in fellowship with their peers. The LEPN will hold monthly meet-ups at local restaurants, where all area emerging professionals will be welcomed regardless of AIA membership. The goal of the LEPN is to engage all emerging professionals in the larger Lexington architectural community.

If you are an emerging professional in the Lexington area, please follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/lexepnetwork, and stay up-to-date on future events.
