Story Time: Honus!
Wednesday, July 26 @ 10:30am
Your pre-school child is sure to have a fun and educational morning with
the ladies of the AAUW. This month they bring us stories, crafts, and activities all about Honus!
From June's story time. Thanks Olivia for the pics!
There is a $5.00 participation fee to cover crafts and snack; children receive a $5.00 coupon to use in the bookstore after story time. Thanks, as always, to our sponsor Stefanie of Blue Journey Farm who you will find at the
Keauhou Farmer's Market every Saturday.

On the day of story time please check your child in at the book store about 10 minutes early and then join the fun in the courtyard under the tents.
Call 324-0350 or email [email protected] to reserve a spot for your keiki.
Our Book clubs are fun and friendly!

And Then All Hell Broke Loose
Based on two decades of reporting, NBC's chief foreign correspondent's riveting story of the Middle East revolutions, the Arab Spring, war, and terrorism seen up-close--sometimes dangerously so. Engel has been under fire, blown out of hotel beds, taken hostage. He has watched Mubarak and Morsi in Egypt arrested and condemned, reported from Jerusalem, been through the Lebanese war, covered the whole shooting match in Iraq, interviewed Libyan rebels who toppled Gaddafi, reported from Syria as Al-Qaeda stepped in, was kidnapped in the Syrian crosscurrents of fighting. It is a succinct and authoritative account of the ever-changing currents in that dangerous land. We will discuss on Tuesday, July 25 @ 6pm.

Our Fiction group: The After Party by Anton DiSclafani
The After Party
From the bestselling author of The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls
comes a story of lifelong female friendship  set within a world of wealth, beauty, and expectation. Joan Fortier is the epitome of Texas glamour and the center of the 1950s Houston social scene. Tall, blonde, beautiful, and strong, she dominates the room and the gossip columns. Devoted to Joan since childhood, Cece Buchanan is either her chaperone or her partner in crime, depending on whom you ask. But when Joan's radical behavior escalates the summer they are twenty-five, Cece considers it her responsibility to bring her back to the fold, ultimately forcing one provocative choice to appear the only one there is. We will discuss on Tuesday, August 8 @ 6:30pm.
