We appreciate all of the alumni and guests who attended the wonderful Alumni & Friends (A&F) Reunion in June! Nearly 600 graduates came together for an inspiring, emotional, and joyful weekend.
Friday night's event at the former Music & Art, the Castle on the Hill, was a beautiful trip down memory lane -- peering into old classrooms, visiting the tower, seeing friends from long ago and creating new relationships that will last a lifetime.
Saturday's f
estivities at LaGuardia began with performances by current students -- your legacy!
The dance showcase featured student choreographed pieces with breathtaking intensity. The drama students delighted us with their thought provoking monologues and stellar musical skills.
The Semi-Annual art show surrounded us with hundreds of awe-inspiring works of beauty. The day continued with classroom gatherings, where you all had a chance to reminisce, and ended with the remarkable Semi-Annual Orchestra and Choral Concert. What a day!
The students who performed were excited to say "thank you!" and show that your legacy lives on.
Many of these students were recipients of A&F's summer study scholarships and year end awards, made possible by generous contributions from alumni.
