Day 1: What To Expect
In case you missed it, our first day of school is THURSDAY, August 17. The schedule is unlike any other day of the year, so here's what your student can expect:
  • As always, school begins at 8:00 a.m. Drop off and pick up are in the circle lot. Students can be dropped off any time after 7:00 a.m.
  • It’s a half day with early dismissal following our 11:20 All School Mass in the auditorium. You are welcome to join us for Mass. We anticipate that Mass will conclude by noon.
  • Lunch will not be served on this day.
  • Students will not follow their class schedules on this day, they will pretty much travel with their classes.
  • We’ll get all devices connected to the Central Catholic Wi-Fi network so make sure your student brings the device he or she plans to use this year.
  • It’s picture day. Central Catholic has partnered with YNI Sports to capture portraits the first few days of school. Download the picture order form for students to turn in when their picture is taken.
  • Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior students wear school dress code attire. The dress code does not just apply to clothing. All students must be compliant with hair, facial hair and appearance or will be required to come in at a later date for a retake.
  • ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS: Per tradition, the school requests Senior Boys wear uniform pants with a white button up collared shirt (we will provide a Central Catholic monogrammed tie to wear with the shirt).  The Senior Girls should arrive in uniform and will be provided a top.
