Santa Fe TTN is organized and led entirely by volunteers.

WE HAVE A NEW LOOK!

Our newsletter can now be more easily read on mobile devices as well as on desktops! But don't worry...all of the usual information is still here, just in a one-column format.

Scroll down past the articles to see our July Calendar of Events and other important information!

Co-Coordinators' Corner

Rachel Greenstein
& Robin Sarkissian
Normally, you might think that a dinner party for 30 would be an overwhelming event that would take hours to prepare and more hours to clean up. Not TTN's annual picnic! Thirty women (and one man - a visiting brother) brought a great variety of delicious food to our pot luck dinner/picnic; a number of people brought wine; and, with helpful hands to set up and clean up, holding this event in my home (Rachel) was a joy. Ten of our number were guests and lively conversation only stopped when the last person left my home.

We have a number of other events - fun, interesting day-trips both in Santa Fe and nearby - with something(s) for everyone. Our Steering Committee is great at finding appealing activities. Scroll down to find the calendar for July and save the dates for August.

As we add more members to our chapter, in respecting all members, we feel it is most fair to ask that non-members limit their attendance to three events before choosing to join. We hope that after three events, you will have a good idea of how much TTN will contribute to your life and a sense of the value of joining The Transition Network. For anyone who might find the $100 beyond their budget, you are most welcome to contact our national office to ask about a scholarship. That arrangement is entirely confidential and no one outside of the national office will ever know you have a scholarship.

Please Read Our New Guest Policy

Non-members are invited to attend up to three events* before joining.
Thereafter, we ask that you refrain from attending out of respect for those who have contributed to supporting the event by paying for their membership.

*These open events include our monthly meetings, coffees, luncheons and happy hours as well as members-only events that you attend as a guest of a particular TTN member.

We hope non-members will understand and respect this policy.

Please contact our National office to join/renew TheTransitionNetwork.org/join. To
apply for a scholarship, write to Susan Collins, Executive Director, at [email protected]

July Monthly Meeting
YOUR ENERGY - BALANCE AND FLOW

Monday, July 24

Enthusiasm is described as passion or being inspired.

Our Steering Committee Is Growing!
Sue Benedict & Lynn Frimond

Two new members
- Sue Benedict and Lynn Frimond - have joined as co-chairs of the Membership Com mittee. They have some great ideas on ways to increase our chapter membership as well as how to keep our current members engaged!

Do you enjoy planning social events, trips and other activities?  Would you like to help determine the direction of TTN?  We have an opening for an Events Committee chair.  We could use your talents. Contact any member of the Steering Committee if you are interested!

Women in Transition Workshop a Success!
Eleven women, TTN members and non-members, attended the Women in Transition workshop on June 24. Jean Palmer and Ginny Dwyer were the facilitators. The women learned about the three phases of transitions, how to navigate those more successfully and worked on an action plan for themselves.

Some comments received from the workshop:
"Thank you so much for creating an open and delightful group."
"Great group of women."
"We are all one!"
"Energy and openness of this circle of women - clarity of workshop"
"The entire program was excellent!  Presentation, handouts, participants, facilitators."
"The diversity - yet the commonality"

There will be another Women in Transition workshop scheduled sometime in the fall.
