President's Corner

Dear Kiwanis Club of Omaha,

Happy Independence Day! I hope everyone has a safe, fun holiday as we celebrate our freedom and the blessings we have in the United States of America.

Because of the opportunities here, we sometimes forget that there are still hundreds of millions of people who live in abject poverty and aren't afforded a chance to improve their own lives. Our Kiwanis Club improves the world one child, and one community at a time by helping kids both locally and internationally - wherever the need is greatest. Thank you for your continued generosity and support for our mission.

If I don't see you at Friday's meeting, I'll see you out on the golf course at our annual tournament on July 17 th at the Field Club of Omaha! Enjoy the rest of your holiday week.

President, Kiwanis Club of Omaha

This Week's Program
"Think: Changing American Healthcare"

This Friday, we are excited to welcome Nigel O'Mahony, the VP of Marketing and Customer Experience at
Think Whole Person Healthcare. Think opened in July of 2015 and is a physician-led practice with over 25 doctors on site. The "accountable care organization" concept, promoted by Obamacare and Medicare, seeks to save money while providing better care, especially for people with chronic illnesses.

We will learn from Mr. O'Mahony about this new concept of healthcare and how it is working here in Omaha.

This will be a great meeting to learn more about how healthcare is changing the way we "Think" in America! Bring a friend!!
